Created from audacity glitched images, this image and accompanying animation explores the process of converting data from one form, an image, into another, a sound, and back again after editing.
This technical process became synonymous with the idea that our view of the world is influenced by our mental filters, such that particularly negative, or highly disruptive, influences massively distort the ‘real’ world into something that is barely recognisable.
